Menorca Beaches

Menorca offers over 50 beaches but a list of best beaches worth visiting is given below.

Cala Galdana, South of Ferreries is known as the “Queen of the calas” and is a beautiful pine clad bay. The beauty of the bay is breathtaking and the beach includes all facilities, beach bars, restaurants and water sports.

Cala Turqueta is sign posted from Ciutadella’s southern bypass, and is a beach as nature intended it. This beautiful natural white sandy beach has no facilities but is a protected gem of a beach.

Son Parc is located on the north coast of the island is a large white sandy beach with shallow waters making it ideal for children. There is a beach bar and facilities for water sports.

Cala Macarella & Macarelleta are a pair of extremely picturesque pine fringed coves located south of Ciutadella. The coves offer all facilities.

Cala Pregonda is an outstandingly beautiful sandy beach west of Fornells Access, surrounded by unusual rock formations, pines and tamarisk. The beach is isolated and offers no facilities.

Son Bou -San Jaime is the longest beach of Menorca and is located south of Alaior. The beach has three modern beach bars connected by a wooden path, sun beds, good choice of water sports and plenty of space.

Arenal D’en Castell is an almost perfect circular cove, with fine sand gently sloping into the water with beach bars, restaurants and all types of water sports available. The beach is located on the north coast.

Agaiarens – La Vall located on the north coast west of Cavalleria is a beautiful unspoiled beach with dunes and limited facilities.

Cala en Porter on the coast south of the airport has all the facilities of an established resort like parking, beach bars, sun beds, and water sports.
